Job Overview

• Shift: Day shift, 6:30am–7:00pm, with rotating weekend and call schedule

• Contract Length: 6 weeks

Role Summary

• Provides cardiopulmonary care services according to physician orders and department policies and procedures.
• Performs respiratory therapy treatments.
• Sets up and monitors mechanical ventilators and provides associated critical care support, including airway management and tracheal suctioning.
• Maintains knowledge of oxygen delivery methods and related equipment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Illinois
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• BLS
• ACLS

Physical / Work Conditions

• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• May be exposed to communicable diseases.
