Description
Travel Certified Surgical/Scrub Technologist
Location
- St Johnsbury, Vermont
Contract
- 13 weeks
- 40 hours per week
- Day shift, Monday through Friday, with potential call
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- CST or NBSTSA
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
Work Setting
- Rural, community-focused critical access hospital
- Perioperative services / operating room environment
Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and the surgical team during operative procedures
- Prepare operating rooms, instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Support perioperative patient care, including transport, positioning, specimen management, documentation, and postoperative preparation
- Participate in on-call coverage and scrub urgent or emergent procedures as needed
Travel Considerations
- Reliable personal transportation is required
- Housing accommodations are the traveler’s responsibility and are available at additional cost
