Occupational Therapist

Job Overview

Location: Walterboro, South Carolina
Setting: Inpatient rehab / acute care
Employment type: Travel
Contract length: 13 weeks
Hours per week: 36
Schedule: Flexible schedule, either 5x8 or 4x10; one Saturday per month; every other weekend and holidays in rotation

Required Qualifications

Valid Occupational Therapist license in South Carolina
Occupational Therapist (2 years of experience)
Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
BLS
NBCOT Verification
OTR Certification

Preferred Experience

Inpatient rehab experience
Acute care experience

Additional Details

Basic occupational therapy skills as an independent clinician
Willingness to learn and be flexible throughout the day
Floating between IRF and acute settings
Light grey scrubs required
Documentation system used: Meditech
Equipment includes Lite Gait, BITS, Nustep, and IASTM
Productivity expectation: 75–80%
Works with an interdisciplinary team including OTs, PTs, SLPs, PTAs, COTAs, and RNs
