Cath Lab RN
Job Overview
- Location: Coon Rapids, Minnesota
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Facility type: Acute care hospital
- Teaching status: Teaching hospital
- Trauma level: Level II trauma center
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule
- Shift: Day, 4x10 hours
- Start time: 7:30 AM
- On-call: Required on weekdays 1–2 times per week based on department need, and every 4th weekend
- Floating: May float between Mercy Coon Rapids and Mercy Unity campuses as needed
- Block scheduling: Depends on schedule
- RTO preference: Ideally no more than 5 days
Patient Volume
- Average daily census: 10–20 cases across 4 labs
- Visits per day: 12
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Minnesota
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 1 year of experience
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 1 year of previous critical care experience
- Experience with Epic
