Description

Registered Nurse

Location

  • Winston Salem, North Carolina

Contract

  • Travel/contract assignment
  • 13 weeks
  • 12-hour night shifts
  • 36 or 48 hours per week available

Schedule Requirements

  • Every other weekend required
  • Floating to other med-surg units within the facility may be required
  • No RTO after booking; additional RTO or call-offs may result in cancellation and do-not-return status

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in North Carolina
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
  • Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
  • 2 years of orthopedic work experience
  • Ortho Trauma experience
  • EPIC EHR experience
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • NIHSS

Preferred Qualifications

  • ACLS
  • Charge nurse experience
  • Level I trauma experience

Unit Details

  • Orthopedic, neuro spine, med-surg, and post-surgical patient population
  • Fast-paced unit
  • Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 5–6:1, with flexibility up to 7:1 in extreme cases

Additional Notes

  • Block scheduling may be available
  • Holiday RTO is not approved
