Registered Nurse

Winston Salem, North Carolina

Contract

Travel/contract assignment
13 weeks
12-hour night shifts
36 or 48 hours per week available

Schedule Requirements

Every other weekend required
Floating to other med-surg units within the facility may be required
No RTO after booking; additional RTO or call-offs may result in cancellation and do-not-return status

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
2 years of orthopedic work experience
Ortho Trauma experience
EPIC EHR experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS
Charge nurse experience
Level I trauma experience

Unit Details

Orthopedic, neuro spine, med-surg, and post-surgical patient population
Fast-paced unit
Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 5–6:1, with flexibility up to 7:1 in extreme cases

Block scheduling may be available
Holiday RTO is not approved
