Description
Polysomnographic Technologist
Location
- Canton, Georgia
Schedule
- Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights
- 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Polysomnographer (2 years of experience)
- Polysomnographer experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- BRPT or RPSGT
- 2 years of recent experience in sleep disorders specialty
- 1 year of experience in sleep study activity
Role Overview
- Prepares adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and equipment for sleep disorders testing
- Monitors polysomnograms and documents per policy
Skills and Experience
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated expertise in sleep disorders, sleep activity, abnormalities, movement arousals, and respirations
Holiday Requirement
- Must work 2 major holidays and 1 minor holiday during the assignment
