Pathologists Assistant/Pathology Technician

Job Overview

Required Qualifications

Pathology Assistant (1 year of experience)
Pathology Assistant experience within the last year
PA (ASCP)
BLS issued by American Heart Association

Pre-Start Requirements

Criminal background check within 6 months of start
EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start, then updated monthly
HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start, then updated monthly
Color blind testing required for all candidates
Physical exam within 1 year of start
N95 mask fit testing within 1 year of start
Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within the stated timeframe
Drug screen within 1 year of start
Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season
Signed fingernail policy prior to start
Compliance checklists must be completed and submitted
Badge photo must be provided 2 weeks prior to start

Additional Notes

Annual core compliance modules are required
OSHA mandatory training is required annually
TB questionnaire is required annually in lieu of annual TB testing
