Description

ICU RN

Job Overview

Contract role in Hawaii
13-week assignment
12-hour day or night shifts
Schedule is 72 hours every 2 weeks

Clinical Setting

9-bed adult ICU
Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2
May increase to 1:3 or 1:4 during med/surg overflow
Stable pediatric patients may occasionally be cared for; unstable pediatrics are transferred
May float to other departments to assist without taking a patient assignment

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Hawaii
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
Experience working with Pediatric patients
Pediatrics experience
ACLS
BLS
PALS

Additional Notes

Minimum of three nurses on each shift
Charge nurse duties may be assigned
