Endoscopy Tech
Job Overview
- Travel assignment in Portsmouth, New Hampshire
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule includes day shifts with weekend rotation
- Weekly hours: 36
Required Qualifications
- Endoscopy Technician with 2 years of experience
- Endoscopy Technician experience within the last year
- BLS
- CFER
- Familiarity with Olympus endoscopes
- Familiarity with medivators
- Leak testing knowledge/skills
- Knowledge of colonoscopy procedures
- Knowledge of EGD procedures
- Knowledge of ERCP procedures
- Knowledge of bronchoscopy procedures
- Knowledge of EUS procedures
- Endoscope reprocessing knowledge and skills
Work Setting
- Endoscopy unit
- May float to the main OR Sterile Processing Department if volume is light
Key Skills / Experience
- Reprocessing endoscope knowledge and skills
- Familiarity with Olympus endoscopes, medivators, and leak testing
- Knowledge of colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, bronchoscopy, and EUS
Responsibilities / Procedures
- Supports procedures including EGD, colonoscopies, ERCP, BARRYX ablations, bronchoscopies, Bravo placements, HET, TIF, EBUS, and EUS
Schedule / Call
- Works Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Weeknight call from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- 24-hour weekend call coverage
Additional Notes
- Hospital scrubs are provided
- Closed-toe shoes are required
