Nuclear Medicine Tech

Overview

  • Travel/contract role in Roanoke, Virginia
  • Day shift: 3x12s, 8:30 AM–9:00 PM
  • Flexible start times, Monday–Wednesday
  • No call
  • One holiday per 13-week contract required
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Virginia
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist (1 year of experience)
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • BLS
  • ARRT (N) or CNMT
  • PET experience
  • Experience with Epic

Scheduling Notes

  • Start time is based on unit needs and may be as early as 6:30 AM
  • Travelers may be called off 1 shift per 2 weeks
  • All requested time off must be included with submission

Submission / Onboarding Requirements

  • Driver’s license or state ID required within 48 hours of signing
  • E-Verify or attestation required
  • 2 clinical references required
  • Complete application/resume required
  • Skills checklist required

Health / Compliance Requirements

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
  • TB questionnaire required
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity/vaccination documentation required
  • Flu vaccination documentation or declination/masking requirement applies for the current season
  • Fit testing required within 1 year of start and updated annually

Additional Notes

  • Epic experience required
  • Emergency authorization may be granted while a permanent Virginia license is processing
