Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech
Overview

- Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- CST
Clinical Setting
- 8 operating rooms
- Patient population: adolescents to geriatrics
- Common cases include general, bariatrics, trauma, GYN, urology, robotics, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and podiatry
Schedule Expectations
- Holidays required as scheduled, including on-call and weekends
- One shift every other weekend required
- On-call required: 5–6 calls per 4-week period, including one weekend call
- Must be able to arrive within 30 minutes when called in
- Floating may be required within the specialty and to a sister campus
Additional Notes
- Strong skills/proficiency expected in the listed surgical specialties
