Overview

• Travel/contract role in La Plata, Maryland
• Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–07:30
• 36/48-hour option
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays required as scheduled
• Floating required within the specialty
• No pre-scheduled on-call requirement

Contract

• 16 weeks, with possible extension up to 20 weeks with limited holiday RTO
• Start date: 09/14/2026

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Emergency Department experience within the last year
• 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• CPI

Clinical Setting

• Emergency Department
• Fast-paced setting with complex diagnoses
• Patient ages: infant through geriatric
• Average daily census: 130
• 47 beds
• Patient ratio: 1:4

Required Documentation and Screening

• Two supervisory references
• Employment application/resume completed within 30 days of start
• 5 years of employment history verification
• Background check, including criminal search and required exclusion/sanction searches
• Education verification
• Physical exam
• Fit testing for respirator use
• TB screening
• Drug screen
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, and tetanus/diphtheria/Tdap documentation as applicable
• Photo for badge
• Confidentiality and facility onboarding documents prior to start
