Telemetry
Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Belleville, Illinois
- Day shift, 3x12 hours
- 36 hours per week
- Acute care hospital, magnet hospital
- Unit: high-risk cardiology telemetry
- Patient ratio: 1:5–6
- First-time travelers accepted
- Floating required within scope to all inpatient units at both campuses
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call
- No block scheduling
- Local candidates not accepted; must live more than 75 miles away
- No more than 7 days of requested time off
- 13-week contract
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Telemetry experience with 2 years of experience
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Clinical Experience Needed
- Cardiac drips
- Cardiac patients, including post-CABG patients after ICU
- Cardiac cath/TAVR patients
- Sheath pulls
- Central line management
