Description
RN (Registered Nurse)
Location
- Bloomington, Illinois
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Nights
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
Unit Overview
- Labor and delivery / alternate birthing center with postpartum and level II nursery patients
- 12 LDRP rooms and 2 triage rooms
- About 700 deliveries per year
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- Skilled in labor and delivery
Schedule
- Every other weekend
- Every other holiday
- No call or standby requirement
Responsibilities and Work Setting
- Float hospital-wide as needed for tasking and team nursing
- Charge nurse on each shift without a patient assignment
- CPAP support in the level II nursery with respiratory therapy assistance for setup
Orientation
- 2–3 shifts
- 12 non-billable orientation hours
Additional Notes
- Hospital-provided scrubs
- Drug screen required
