Description

Dialysis RN Travel Contract

Location

  • Greensboro, North Carolina

Schedule

  • Day shift, 3x12 hours
  • 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Rotating weekends
  • Sunday night call only

Assignment Details

  • Travel/contract role
  • Float required between 3 campuses
  • Dialysis patient population includes hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and apheresis care
  • Care may include acutely ill medical-surgical and critical care patients
  • Telemetry monitoring is used in the department

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in North Carolina
  • Dialysis experience within the last year
  • 1 year of dialysis experience
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Driver's License
  • Experience with Epic
  • Pass/fail EKG exam required for all RNs
  • NURSYS verification
  • State license verification within 30 days of start

  • TB questionnaire
  • Hepatitis B titer or declination
  • MMR immunity documentation
  • Varicella immunity documentation
  • Drug screen
  • Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season

Background Check

  • Background check required before start
  • Education verification required
  • Foreign equivalency evaluation required if education was obtained outside the United States

Additional Notes

  • Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
  • Compliance must be completed by noon EST on the Wednesday before start date
