Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Overview

Specialty: Perinatal

Schedule: Every other weekend

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
NRP

Role Details

Candidates should be able to take charge
May need to float to Mother Baby
Does not float to other units
Does not have charge responsibilities

Unit Information

Labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum unit with 6 LDRP rooms, 2 triage rooms, 5 postpartum/whs rooms, and 2 NICU beds in the nursery
Approximately 80–90 births per month
Staffing ratios follow AWHONN standards
