Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License

Clinical Requirements

Chest tubes
Femstops
Trachs
CBIs
Drains
Central lines
Medication management including amiodarone, Cardizem, nitro, insulin, heparin, dopamine, dobutamine, Isuprel, milrinone, and argatroban
Some titration

Additional Details

May float within the same discipline across local campuses
Local candidates accepted
Must live more than 50 miles from the facility
Summer holiday coverage required for 1–2 of these holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day
Orientation dates are scheduled throughout 2026
