Description
Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit / Stepdown
Location
- Rock Island, Illinois
Schedule
- Nights
- 12-hour shifts
- 13-week contract
- 48-hour weekly guarantee
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
Clinical Experience / Skills
- Chest tube management
- Femstop management
- CBI (continuous bladder irrigation) management
- Drain management
- Central line management
- Amiodarone administration and titration
- Cardizem administration and titration
- Nitroglycerin administration and titration
- Insulin administration and titration
- Heparin administration and titration
Additional Details
- May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
- Summer holiday coverage required for 1–2 of the following: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility
- At least 1 prior travel contract is preferred
