Description

Ambulatory Care RN

Overview

  • Location: Washington, District of Columbia
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Specialty: Pediatric RN
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Start date: 3/3, with the next orientation available on 3/17
  • First-time travelers: Accepted

Schedule

  • Shift: Day shift, 5x8 hours
  • Hours: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
  • Weekly schedule: Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays once or twice per month
  • Evening coverage: At least 1–2 evening shifts per week

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in District of Columbia
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • 2 years of Ambulatory Care experience
  • Ambulatory Care experience within the last year
  • Pediatrics experience
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • CHEMO - Chemotherapy

Health and Compliance Requirements

  • Physical exam within 30 days of start

  • Drug screen within 30 days of start
  • Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
  • COVID vaccine or declination
  • Latex allergy information or latex questionnaire
