Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment within the previous 18 months
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
TNCC
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
Experience with Epic

Preferred / Nice to Have

NIH Stroke Scale
Professional reference from within the past 24 months
De-escalation certification: CPI, MAB, MOAB, or SAMA

Assignment Details

Local radius rule: 50 miles
Float assignment may include the Marion ED freestanding campus
Unit ratio: 4:1
Unit bed size: 34
Patient population includes a mixture of cases with drips and titrations
Required to work 1–2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed
Orientation is 16 hours
