Description
PCU RN Travel Contract
Overview
- Location: Columbus, Ohio
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Schedule: Every other weekend; Friday and Saturday nights
- Shift: Day or night, 12-hour shifts
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips
- Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
- Telemetry experience
Additional Notes
- Candidates with 1 year of RN experience may be considered, but are not guaranteed automatic offers and must be reviewed by the manager.
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam is required within 1 year of start and updated annually, unless the role falls under an explicit exclusion listed by the facility.
- Emergency contact form is required for all candidates.
- Background check, fingerprinting, and license verification are required before start.
- Fraud, waste, and abuse training and related compliance acknowledgements are required before start.
- Physical exam, TB screening, drug screen, and flu documentation are required as part of health clearance.
- 2 professional references are required, including at least 1 from a manager/director or formal leader.
