Clinical Neurophysiology Technologist I

Assignment Details

  • Location: Rochester, Minnesota
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts Sat/Sun 7:00–19:30 and 8-hour shifts Mon/Tues 15:00–23:30
  • Hours per week: 40

Required Qualifications

  • EEG Technologist experience within the last year
  • 1 year of EEG Technologist experience
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • EEG Registry or CLTM Registry
  • Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist
  • Associate's degree in Applied Science or related science

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Perform EEG testing, including on-call rotation
  • Perform evoked potentials, autonomic studies, and nerve conduction studies
  • Prepare patients, acquire data, and maintain a safe testing environment
  • Support patients in inpatient settings, including the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit
  • Monitor and maintain EEG recordings, respond to seizures, troubleshoot equipment, assist with SPECT injections, and provide shift reports
  • Serve as a liaison between nurses and physicians
  • Mentor student technologists rotating through the inpatient practice
