- Dixon, Illinois
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Shift
- Nights, 12-hour shifts
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
- BLS certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- EFM competency
- Minimum of 1 year of experience; 2 or more years preferred
- Experience in L&D, postpartum, and level 2 nursery
Unit Details
- Obstetrics unit with antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum, and level 2 nursery patients
- Traveler may also work antepartum and postpartum
- No scrub or circulate duties for C-sections
- 7 beds with 1 overflow room
- Uses AWHONN staffing guidelines based on patient acuity
- May float to other departments during COVID surge
- Rotation with permanent staff
Orientation
- 2 to 3 days of orientation
- On-unit learning
- Orientation includes 12-hour shifts
Additional Notes
- Drug screen required
- Time off requests must be known before the contract is established
- Scrubs are provided
