Required qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Missouri
• Occupational Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
• NBCOT
• Experience in a(n) Long Term Care setting

Role summary

• Screens and evaluates patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders
• Develops and adjusts treatment plans based on patient progress and outcomes
• Provides skilled rehabilitation treatment using standardized assessments and evidence-based practice
• Performs ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices
• Communicates with supervisors, team members, patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers
• Completes discharge summaries, documentation, treatment minute tracking, and required meetings/training
• May supervise occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students
