Description

Interventional Radiology Tech

Location

Jacksonville, Florida

Contract

13 weeks

Schedule

4x10 hour shifts
Start times: 7:30 AM or 8:30 AM, depending on call shifts
Flexible to work holidays
Call required: 7 PM–7 AM
1 weekday call shift each week
1 weekend call shift per month

Required Qualifications

Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Florida
Interventional Radiology Technologist (1 year of experience)
Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
BLS
ARRT (R)
Body Surgery experience
Neuro Surgery experience
Vascular Surgery experience
Previous scrub cases experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a sterile environment and aseptic technique
Associate degree

Job Responsibilities

Provide service to adolescents and adults
Produce high-quality images for Radiology and assigned operating room areas
Work with a variety of equipment and technology
Follow safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and self
Communicate effectively and support teamwork
Maintain flexibility to work various locations, shift times, and lengths
Respond to an on-call pager, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends
