Echo Sonographer

Job Overview

Contract role in York, Maine
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Monday–Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Weekend call required: 1 on / 4 off, Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm

Required Qualifications

Echo Technologist (2 years of experience)
Echo Technologist experience within the last year

Key Responsibilities

Prepare patients and diagnostic equipment for imaging procedures
Obtain high-quality imaging and assist physicians with interpretation
Provide direct and indirect patient care in the hospital/office setting
Educate patients and caregivers and support patient advocacy
Maintain records, archiving, inventory, and equipment/supply organization
Support quality monitoring, cleaning, and office upkeep
Collaborate with providers, clinical staff, and support staff to support patient care
