Description
PCU Travel/Contract RN Job
Location
- Columbus, Ohio
Schedule
- 12-hour day/night rotating shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Weekends vary based on unit needs
Assignment Length
- 16 weeks
Unit Overview
- Acute leukemia and hematology unit
- Primary patient population: adults and geriatrics
- Cares for newly diagnosed acute leukemia patients
- Staffing goal is 1:4, with possible ratios up to 1:5
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Blood product administration
- Central line blood draw
- PICC line management
- Feeding tube care and management
Preferred Qualifications
- ONS Chemo Cert
- NIHSS
