Description

Med Surg Nurse

Job Overview

Contract role in Murphysboro, Illinois
13-week assignment
12-hour night shifts
Every other weekend and every other holiday
No on-call

Unit Details

Blended Med Surg unit with Swing Bed and occasional PCU-level patients
Typical ratios:
- Med Surg: 1:5
- Swing Bed: 1:5–6
- PCU: 1:3–4 when the patient is on a drip

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS
2 years of Med Surg experience
Med Surg experience within the last year

Additional Notes

Nurses with a Med Surg background are accepted
Supervisors assist with assignments based on workload and patient acuity
