Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
AWHONN
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with High Risk patients

Unit Details

Labor and delivery unit
High-risk obstetrical unit
24 beds
Estimated patient ratios: 2:1 and 3:1 in OBED triage
Floating to antepartum within Women’s as needed

Procedures / Clinical Experience

Vaginal deliveries
C-sections
D&C
Post-delivery recovery care

Additional Notes

Uses fetal monitors
Meditech and CPN are listed in the source as documentation systems
Attendance policy follows company-wide policy
Dress code includes clean, natural nails; no artificial nails or gel nails; visible piercings other than ears are not allowed
