RN - Post Partum/Mom Baby
Job Overview
- Location: Irving, Texas
- Employment type: Travel
- Specialty: Postpartum / Newborn Nursery
- Shift: 7P
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Hours per week: 36
- Weekend schedule: Every other weekend
- Call: Discuss during the interview
- Floating: As needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS
- NRP
- Post Partum (2 years of experience)
- Post Partum experience within the last year
- Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
- Experience working with High Risk patients
- Experience working with Neonate patients
- Ability to care for Postpartum recoveries
- Antepartum experience
- Nursery experience
Preferred
- Advanced FM
- RNC-OB
- Meditech experience
Unit Details
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Procedures performed on unit include IV placement
- Patient care includes antepartum care and newborn nursery care
Work Environment
- Scrubs: Royal blue
- Nail policy: No artificial nails, gel, or next-gen nails
- Hair must be neat and clean; shoulder-length or longer hair must be pulled back
- Visible piercings other than ears are not allowed
- Tattoos should be covered whenever possible
