Description
RN - EP Lab
Location
- Tucson, Arizona
Job Type
- Travel
- 36 hours per week
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- 3 x 12-hour day shifts
- Call required on a rotating basis, including weekends
Setting
- Cardiac Observation Unit
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- Electrophysiology Lab (2 years of experience)
- Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience Considerations
- Experience in PACU, ICU, telemetry, cath lab, or surgery center may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Key Responsibilities
- Admit patients
- Prepare patients for cath procedures, cardioversions, and transesophageal echocardiograms
- Recover patients after cath procedures with conscious sedation
- Sedate, circulate, and document bedside procedures
- Discharge patients with teaching, documentation, and physical discharge
Clinical Focus
- Pre- and post-procedure care for cath lab patients
- High-risk, high-acuity cardiac observation care
