ER Holding Nurse

Overview

Experience

• 2 years of experience preferred; 1+ years will be considered
• First-time travelers are accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Mexico
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
• ED - Emergency Department experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• NIHSS
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI or American Red Cross or American Safety and Health Institute
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI or American Safety and Health Institute

Compliance and onboarding

• Government-issued ID or driver’s license required
• E-Verify required
• Background check required
• Education verification required
• Fingerprinting required onsite during orientation
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Fit test within 1 year of start
• Tdap vaccination within 10 years of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Drug screen within 90 days of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
• Work history verification required
• Skills checklist required annually
• Clear headshot required for badge

• Travelers may attend orientation and training pending fingerprint clearance, but cannot work until clearance is received.
