Description

PCU RN for ER Holding Area

Location

  • Savannah, Georgia

Schedule

  • 3x12-hour night shifts
  • 36 hours per week

Assignment Length

  • 13–14 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Active Georgia or Compact RN license
  • BLS and ACLS
  • Minimum 2 years of recent PCU experience, or 1 year of recent PCU experience plus 1+ years of TELE/ER/ICU experience
  • At least 1 previous travel assignment completed
  • No license hits; a current NURSYS report must be included at submission

Role Details

  • Provides care for patients being boarded in the ER
  • Telemetry experience required
  • Must be able to titrate drips
  • Typical patient population includes Med-Surg, Sickle Cell, and heart failure cases
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio is 4:1

Submission Requirements

  • Full availability, including all requested time off
  • Start date aligned with compliance timelines
  • Current references from the same specialty/modality
  • Resume must include:
    • Number of beds and trauma level for all facilities worked in the past 3 years
    • Employment type for each role
    • Number of shifts worked per month if PRN

Onboarding

  • Orientation is weekly
  • Monday starts only, except Tuesday starts when Monday is a holiday
  • Onboarding must be completed at least 7 calendar days before the start date

Additional Notes

  • Local candidates are not accepted
  • Quick starts require approval before placement
