Description

Step Down RN Travel Contract

Overview

Location: Dayton, Ohio
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day, 4x12 hours
Weekly hours: 48
Contract length: 13 weeks
Patient ratio: Target 1:4, may be up to 1:5–6

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with stable chronic ventilators
Experience with Epic

Preferred

IV start experience
Level 1 or Level 2 experience preferred
Travel experience preferred

Scheduling and Assignment Notes

Must be available to work every other weekend and holiday
First to float at the employer’s discretion
May float within medically appropriate nursing assignments across nearby campuses
2 shifts may be canceled due to low census during the 13-week contract
Contract may be ended with 2 weeks’ notice without fee or fine

Additional Notes

EPIC experience required
RTO must be requested with the initial submission; no RTO added after offer
For a 48-hour contract, overtime is paid after 48 hours
