Description
Registered Nurse, Preop/PACU
Location: Puyallup, Washington
Employment Type: Contract
Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, varying shifts between 0600–1600
Setting: Preoperative / Post-Anesthesia Care Unit
Overview
This role provides nursing care for patients in a surgical center setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of care. The position supports general, hand, podiatry, and urology cases, including adolescents age 15 and older.
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Washington
- PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
- PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
Preferred Qualifications
- PreOp/PACU licensed RN experience
Additional Details
- Scrubs are provided
- Perianesthesia Academy completion is mentioned as an option for some nurses without PreOp/PACU experience
