Registered Nurse — Med-Surg Telemetry
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Glen Burnie, Maryland
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 20:00–08:30
- Adult to geriatric patient population
- Mixed med-surg unit with telemetry
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
Unit Details
- Average daily census: 18
- 24 beds
- Patient ratio: 1:5
- Common patient types include TIA, respiratory, urology, gynecology, cellulitis/wound care, palliative, infectious, gastrointestinal, post-op recovery, observation, and post-cardiac cath patients without intervention
Schedule Expectations
- Holidays required as scheduled
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required within the specialty, other units, and sister facilities within scope
- On-call not required
