Description
RN - Orthopedic Surgery
Overview
- Travel RN position in Aurora, Colorado
- 36 hours per week
- 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shift
- 13-week contract
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS
- Orthopedics experience within the last year
- Orthopedics (1 year of experience)
- Orthopedic Surgery experience
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS
- Chemo Certification
Unit Details
- Orthopedic/spine unit
- Common procedures include joint replacements, fracture repairs, and care for spinal injuries
- Patient ratios are approximately 1:5 on days and nights, varying by unit
Work Environment
- Flexibility and willingness to float
- Team-oriented and compassionate care approach
- Meditech EMR used on the unit
