Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech

Overview

• Travel/contract surgical services role in Garfield Heights, Ohio
• Day shift, 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Float to another location as needed
• Includes call coverage: 3–4 weeknight calls and 3 weekend call shifts per 6-week schedule

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
• 1.5 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NBSTSA certification in hand
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty

Additional Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID must be carried while on assignment
• Background check required before start
• Fingerprinting required before start and must be updated annually
• Education verification required
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start
• Fit mask clearance required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray required
• Tdap vaccination required every 10 years
• Flu vaccination/documentation required
• Drug screening required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunization documentation required
• Snellen eye exam required within 1 year of start
• References must be from employment within 1 year of start

Onboarding Notes

• Online training modules must be completed before start
• Facility orientation includes pass/fail testing during onboarding
• Resume/work history documentation is required for this role
