Description
RN - Rapid Response
Overview
- Travel RN position in Thornton, Colorado
- Interventional Radiology setting
- 6-week assignment
- 48-hour schedule
- 45 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Rapid Response (1 year of experience)
- Rapid Response experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Interventional Radiology experience
Schedule
- No RTO or special scheduling
- On-call coverage is required on weeknights and weekends
Unit Details
- 150-bed unit
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Equipment includes a Siemens single-plane C-arm
Preferred Experience
- Meditech experience
- Good vascular access skills
- PICC line or midline experience
Procedures
- Paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, fine needle aspiration
- Midline and PICC line procedures
- Kyphoplasty
- Pulmonary embolism thrombectomy
- Vascular access, conscious sedation, and critical care
