RN - PACU
Job Overview
- Travel assignment in Denver, Colorado
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Seasonal role
- Shift: 3:30 PM to 4:00 AM
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Critical Care experience
Unit Details
- PACU with pre-op and recovery for patients receiving anesthesia
- High neuro volume, including stroke patients
- Also handles interventional radiology, TAVR, critical care overflow, spine, general, GI, colorectal, total joints, GYN, and robotics cases
- Patient ratio is typically 1 RN to 2 patients, with same-day surgery patients up to 3
- Staffed per ASPAN standards
Work Environment
