Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

• 5 days per week, 8 hours per day

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Overview

• Experienced cath lab technician supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Prepares the lab, equipment, and supplies
• Maintains sterile technique and patient safety during procedures
• Documents patient information and procedure data
• Serves as a preceptor and resource for junior staff

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Texas
• 2 years of experience in Diagnostic, Interventional Radiology, or Cath/EP Lab
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• One of the following certifications:

  • RCIS
  • RCES
  • RCS
  • ARRT (R)
  • ARRT (CI)
  • ARRT (CV)
  • ARRT (VI)
  • RDMS
  • RVT

Preferred Education

• Associate’s degree in cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology, or a healthcare-related field
