Description

Hospice In-Patient Unit

Grand Junction, Colorado

Schedule

3 x 12-hour shifts, 7pm–7am, rotating
On-call requirement: 2 shifts per month
Orientation: 3 days, 8am–5pm, before starting night shift

Role Overview

Hospice nursing role focused on intensive end-of-life care in a home-like inpatient setting
Nurses provide compassionate care and support for patients and families
Responsibilities include patient assessment, symptom management, teaching patients and caregivers, and supporting physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS
2 years of hospice experience
Hospice experience within the last year
