Description
Emergency Room Registered Nurse
Overview
- Travel/contract position in Bloomington, Indiana
- Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Local candidates are not accepted
- Floating may be required to nearby sister facilities, though rarely
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- TNCC
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Schedule
- 4x12-hour shifts
- Guaranteed hours vary by schedule:
- 8- and 10-hour shifts: 40 hours per workweek
- 3x12-hour shifts: 36 hours per workweek
- 4x12-hour shifts: 48 hours per workweek
Additional Hiring Requirements
- Minimum of 2 references from recent employment
- Employment history must be current, with any gap of 30 days or more explained
