Description
Labor & Delivery RN
Overview
- Travel RN position in Granbury, Texas
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- 36 hours per week
- No call
- No 48-hour option
- No block guarantee, though scheduling will attempt to accommodate
- Floating within Women’s Services
- Start ASAP
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Ability to circulate C-sections
- High-risk labor management
- Pitocin titration
- Fetal monitoring interpretation
- Neonatal resuscitation participation
- Postpartum/couplet care competency
Preferred Qualifications
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
- STABLE
- Previous rural hospital experience
- Experience in an LDRP model
Assignment Details
- Scope includes labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care
- 1:1 labor ratio and 3:1 couplet care ratio
- 8-bed unit
- Navy blue or pink scrubs
Scheduling Notes
- Maximum RTO: 6 days within a 6-week period
- Must work 1 major holiday if the assignment overlaps
Additional Notes
- Travelers must live more than 50 miles from the facility
- Home address and SSN must be included with submission
