Clinical Nurse Educator
Location

- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Assignment Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- 3 years of educator experience
- Educator experience within the last year
- Experience in an acute care setting
- 1 year of experience in clinical education and staff professional development within the past 2 years
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
- ED - Emergency Department experience
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
Role Summary
- Assess practice gaps and learning needs, facilitate learning, and evaluate outcomes to support high-quality patient care
- Support staff onboarding and orientation, competency management, department-specific education, evidence-based practice, research, mentorship, and student placements
- Participate in committees related to practice, risk management, quality improvement, ethics, and infection prevention
Housing
- Shared contractor housing only, with limited availability
- No pets or family allowed
- Housing application must be submitted 2 weeks before start date (at additional cost)
Compliance
- Full compliance is required 2 weeks prior to the start date
Additional Notes
- COVID and flu exemptions may be accepted after a declination form is submitted
