Pharmacist Inpatient
Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Washington, DC
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No weekends
Required Qualifications
- Valid Hospital Pharmacist license in District of Columbia
- Hospital Pharmacist (2 years of experience)
- Hospital Pharmacist experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Chemotherapy certification
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
- Competency exam
- Color blind testing
- Government-issued photo ID
- Background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- Education verification
- Copy of professional license
- Primary source license verification
- Medication calculation exam at orientation
- 2 professional references from the past 2 years
- Employment application
- Skills checklist
Health and Compliance Requirements
- Physical exam within 30 days of start, including latex allergy information
- Fit test within 1 year of start, updated annually
- Tdap within 10 years
- TB screening or chest X-ray within 60 days of start
- TB questionnaire
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity documentation or vaccination records
- 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start, including marijuana
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- COVID vaccine or declination for tracking
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
- Pass/fail testing acknowledgement
- Emergency contact form
Additional Notes
- Badge photo must be submitted immediately after signing
- Medication study guide is required for nursing-related orientation testing
- Workramp modules are required for non-nursing candidates; Cornerstone modules are required for specified roles
- Hepatitis B declination and flu exemption forms are required only if applicable
