ICU Registered Nurse
Job Overview
- Location: London, Ohio
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Schedule includes every other weekend and rotating holidays
- Locals accepted at the same rate as travel
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred
- Previous travel experience
Work Expectations
- Must clock in and out for lunch
- No artificial nails, gel polish, or dip nails
- Staffing ratios vary by acuity; typical ICU assignments are 1:2 for critically ill patients and 1:3-4 for lower-acuity patients
Compliance and Onboarding
- Unexpired government-issued photo ID
- Background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- Fingerprinting
- Ohio BCI/FBI fingerprint result attestation
- Physical exam within the last 12 months
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- TB questionnaire
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, and flu documentation
