Description
Respiratory Therapist
Location
- Marshall, Michigan
Schedule
- Nights
- 12-hour shifts
- 13-week assignment
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Michigan
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (5 years of experience)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience in supervisory roles
- Driver's License
- Ability to cross-train in cardiopulmonary procedures including EKG, stress tests, Holter monitors, event monitors, and EEGs
Additional Requirements
- Certified Respiratory Therapists (CRT) are not considered
- Must be able to perform respiratory care duties including ventilator care, critical care assessment, EKGs, floor therapy, newborn support, arterial blood gas access, pulmonary function testing, stress testing, and Holter monitoring/scanning
- Must have a current skills checklist for Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Must provide 2 supervisory signed references from within the past 2 years of employment
- Must include work history in the profile
- Must have their own vehicle
- Permanent address must be included in the profile
- All scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of application
- No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted
- Block scheduling will not be considered
Notes
- Cerner experience is strongly preferred
- Travelers living within 50 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced rate
