Job Overview
- Location: Fredericksburg, Texas
- Employment type: Travel

Unit Details
- Unit: PreOp/PACU
- Patient ratios: Per ASPAN standards
- Floating: Within the unit
- Shift: Day shift is 8 hours, 5 days, 0900–1730 with flexibility; night shift is on call
- Call requirement: 1 weekend call per month and 1 weekday call per month
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- 1 year of PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
- PreOp/Phase II recovery/PAWPhase I experience
- Preoperative experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Meditech experience
- Regional block assistance
Clinical Setting
- PreOp, Phase II recovery, Phase I recovery
- Procedures include general, ortho, gyn, vascular, GI, PCI, IR, and blood transfusions
Work Environment
- Flexible, positive, team-oriented, autonomous, and versatile
- Hospital-provided scrubs; RN must bring hospital-dedicated shoes
