Description
Operating Room RN
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Saint Paul, Minnesota
- 13-week assignment
- Day and evening shifts available: 5x8s
- 40 hours per week
- CVOR RN position in an acute care teaching hospital with Level 3 trauma designation
Schedule
- Start times include 6:45am, 9:00am, 11:00am, and 2:45pm
- Weekends as needed per department
- Call as needed per department
- Block scheduling may be accommodated
- RTO limit: no more than 5 days
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Minnesota
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- CVOR (1 year of experience)
- CVOR experience within the last year
- OR - Operating Room experience
Additional Considerations
- Local candidates are not accepted within a 100-mile radius
- Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs
Work Environment
- Scrubs are provided
- Epic charting system used
Compliance and Pre-Start Requirements
- Criminal background check required
- Federal exclusion checks required
- Fingerprinting and Minnesota DHS clearance required
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam required
- Competency exam required
- Skills checklist required annually
- Physical exam within 12 months prior to start
- Tdap required
- Negative TB or chest X-ray required
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation required
- Respiratory safety clearance required
- References are not required for client clearance
- Drug testing is not required for client clearance
Housing / Parking
- Parking is available for a fee after the first day
- Night shift parking is free in the ramp
